Adobe photoshop has a wonderful feature to crop and straighten scanned images. A lot of times we scan a number of photos on our flatbed scanner and most of the times these photos are placed randomly. This feature helps you to crop and straighten these photos in absolutely no time.
Let's start by keeping a few photos in your flatbed scanner. From photoshop fire a command to scan the images.
Turn on preview in your scanner interface. We used UMAX Astra 5600. Your interface can be different depending on your scanner brand.
After scanning the images you can see these are all placed randomly. In normal cases you will crop each and every shot separately.
From file menu select automate>>crop and straighten photos.
Photoshop will automatically detect the images separately and crop the images. It will separate out the images as four separate files.
