Creating a cool smooth blend image collage

Start by applying a nice gradient to the background.

Insert an image of a model and place as shown.

Select eraser tool with soft brush settings and remove the hard edges.

Change the layer mode to "Luminosity".

Insert more images, erase hard edges and change their layer mode to luminosity.

Insert an image of a face close up. Place it in the center as shown.

Erase hard edges and change the layer mode to "Linear Dodge".

Select and merge all the layers. Duplicate the layer. From filter menu select" Blur>>Gaussian Blur". Apply settings as shown.

Change the layer mode to "linear Light".
