Creating a futuristic background effect |

Start by creating a gradient as shown in the image below.

Create a new file and apply the gradient.
|
|
|
Duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select Warp. Select "Bulge" style from the preset warp shapes. Apply settings as shown.

|
Change the layer mode to "Pin Light ".
|
|
|
Duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T, right click the layer and select Rotate 90°.

|
Select and merge all the layers. Duplicate the layer. From "Filter" menu select "Stylize>>Glowing Edges". Apply settings as shown.

|
Press Ctrl+U to open hue/saturation window. Apply settings as shown.
|
|
|
|
Duplicate the layer. From "Filter" menu select "Blur>>Gaussian Blur ". Apply settings as shown.
|
|
|
Change the layer mode to "Lighten".
|
|
|
Select and merge all the layers. Duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T and scale up. Change the layer mode to "Linear Burn".
