In this tutorial, we will learn to create a logo for an imaginary company whose first name is starting from the letter 'i' and last name from 'w'. The name is not important at this point but you will learn how to create shapes and place them to form letters.
Press 'U' or click on custom shape tool. Select this shape.
Select #0CB8E0 as foreground color and draw this shape.
Right click on its layer name. Select blending options and select gradient overlay to fill the shape.
Draw a circle over it. Fill it with same color and gradient.
Duplicate the arrow shpae layer by pressing control+j. Rotate it by pressing contol+T.
Fill this shape with gradient overlay, but this time change the color to #FDC142.
Draw the circle over the shape and fill it with same color and gradient setting.
Group and merge the duplicate arrow and circle layer. Rotate it to other side of the shape
Select this shape from the list of custom shapes
Draw this shape behind our 3 men. Fill it with #006699.
Our logo shape is completed. As you can see that the 3 men are forming the letter 'w'. We have used the different color for the man in middle to create the letter 'i'.
