Creating leaves on a dry tree

Start by opening an image of dry tree.

Select brush tool. Press F5 to open brush settings. Select the brush and apply settings as shown.

Select foreground and background color as shown.

Create a new layer and apply he brush on branches.

Similarly populate the tree with leaves on all branches.

Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to :"Color Dodge".
