Start
by creating a new file of header size. Fill background with a solid black
color.
Create
a blue rectangle using rectangular shape tool.
Double
click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.
Create
a gray rectangle using rectangular shape tool and place at the bottom.
Create a blue rectangle using rectangular shape tool and place as shown.
Double
click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.
Right
click the layer in layer palette and rasterize it. Select polygon lasso
tool and create a corner selection. Press delete to remove area under selection.
Insert
a model's cutout and place towards left.
To
create navigation links create a white color line using line tool. Take
pixel width 3 to 4 pixels wide.
Create
another line but with decreased width near the first line. Use gray color
this time.
Type
the link text.
Now
we'll create a cool pixel dots triangle. Select rectangle marquee tool.
From top bar select fixed width. Enter value of 1 in width and height field
and click somewhere on your file. It will create a 1px by 1 px rectangular
selection.
Create
a new layer and fill this with light gray color.
Duplicate
layer several times. Move and place as shown to create a dotted triangle.
Select
and merge all 1 px square layers. Now move this triangle layer right below
the link name.
Similarly
create more buttons.
Populate
the header by adding site logo and other text details.
