Retouching an image to correct color tones |

We'll work on the image below to correct it's color.

|
Open channel window. Duplicate the blue channel.
|
|
|
Press Ctrl+L to open level settings. Apply settings as shown..
|
|
|
Ctrl+Click the channel thumbnail to get the selection. Switch to layer palette. Press Ctrl+J to copy paste the selection in a new layer.

|
From image menu select "Adjustments>>Variations". Apply color shades according to the image. Click on options to make the sky area more blue.
|
|
|
|
Select the original layer. Press Ctrl+U to open hue/saturation window. Apply settings as shown.
