A number of times you need to share your actions with your friends or you want to share your fav actions on different computers. Maybe between your office and home PC too. Photoshop provide us a very simple and effective way to share our favourite actions across various computers.
Lets start by opening actions window from window>>actions. Click on small arrow at top left of actions window and select "New Set". This step is very important as you MUST create a new set to share actions.
Type a suitable name for your actions set. We name it "actions_2_share". Press OK. A new set with the defined name will appear inside actions window.
Now drag your favourite actions to this folder or/and you can create new actions within this folder. We dragged three actions that were created already, in this set.
These three actions will appear inside our action set "actions_2_share".
Select your actions set. Again click on small arrow at lop left of actions window. Select "Save Actions".
Save it in a location where you can find it easily. We saved it in a folder called actions2share on our desktop. Press save to complete the process.
A new action with name "actions_2_share" with a file extension .atn appears inside mentioned folder on our desktop. Now you can easily burn it in a CD ROM to take it to your home PC or email it to friends.
All you have to do to load this action is click on small arrow and select load actions and point to specific path.
