This short tutorial will explain how to use a screen
shot in Photoshop.
Did you find some nice picture on internet which you
want to use in your design ? You can either save it to disk (which takes
disk space and more time) or you can make a screen shot and have it
instantly. The first step to shoot your screen is pressing the PrtSc key
(often located nearby the Pause and Ins key).
Next you have to open up Photoshop and
create a new document. Notice that the width and height is already
set to the resolution of your screen.
After you created the new document you have
to copy the screen (CTRL+V or Edit -> Paste). Now you can cut
the desired image by using the marquee tool (M) and cut it with CTRL+X.
